Will I have to vomit in exposure therapy for emetophobia?

No. Vomiting is not a part of exposure therapy for emetophobia. I understand this fear completely, but I assure you that vomiting is not needed to overcome emetophobia and should not be a part of therapy. I always try to tell people that exposure therapy is about exposing yourself to the **posibility** of something, not the thing directly. It's a subtle difference but super important. In exposure therapy you might go to the grocery store even if you are worried you might be sick, but you would never be asked to make yourself sick at the grocery store, if that example helps.
